How to choose your trip in Greece?
The first criterion is duration. In 3 to 8 days, you can combine Athens, a major mainland site (Delphi or Meteora) and an archipelago like the Cyclades. Over 9 to 12 days, it becomes possible to add the Peloponnese or Crete without rushing. We advise against itineraries that stack more than three islands: ferry times eat up your days and cause fatigue. Our team in Athens will guide you on coherent combinations depending on the season.
Different types of trips
Our cultural trips follow the great ancient and Byzantine sites: Acropolis, Delphi, Olympia, Mystras, Meteora. Adventure itineraries focus on hiking in the Vikos gorges, Samaria, or the Pelion trails, sometimes with a sailing stage in the Cyclades. Family trips alternate short visits, beaches and water activities, often based in Crete or the Ionian Islands for their calm waters and child-friendly accommodation.
What is the best season?
May-June and September-October offer the best balance: 22 to 30 °C, swimmable sea, less crowded sites. July-August remain possible for beach lovers, but temperatures exceed 35 °C in Athens and the Peloponnese, and the meltem can disrupt Cycladic connections. Winter suits a cultural trip on the mainland, but many island establishments close from November to April.
